Studio night 2

It's our 2nd night at the studio. We set up last night and we started recording this morning. We have been here about 13-14 hours today. We finished doing 7 drum tracks, 1 bass track and now David is working on a guitar take for "sad eyes".
We are gonna be here all night. We brought the van in case we need to go sleep a bit.
we are spaced out, and having fun. Lots of experimenting :-)

Lots of ass

I saw a lot of ass tonight. We played at Pop Roxx to a few hundred good looking goth kids. It was pretty amazing. There were these really cool dancers in very little clothes. And a bunch of friends showed up. The only one that didn't show up was our friend Diva. We met Diva last time we were in San Francisco. We met "her" in the alley behind Edinburgh Castle. Anyways, tonight was fun. Loud loud music and leather and whips and David even dressed up with Trent Rezner.
I was into the photobooth upstairs. I am gonna have to google myself now.
Peace out - and thanks to everybody that showed up. It was amazing.

Much love,
Victoria

It's sooo hot on Facebook

Yeah, both.. It's SO hot. In fact, so hot that I have been staying inside setting up a Facebook page. Seems like I am the last person on earth to get one of those.. And I have to admit, it's so much fun. I found people on there I haven't seen since I was in 9C at Hedebo (my old school in Denmark) Wow !!! Such a trip.
Then I went out to meet up with my friend The Fox. He is helping us burn all our sessions to DVD, so we can send them off to London to be mixed.
Let me take a quick photo of The Fox...2 secs.....
Here we go:

And tonight I am supposed to meet up with Lex Love again...If he's done watching "The Wire", 'cos if he is not, he will blow me off :-)

Rilo Kiley at The Greek !

Last night was surprising. My plan was to go check out the opening reception of Mr. Brainwash. I was going to go early, but fell asleep. That happens to me a lot actually... So I ended up going around 8.30. Big mistake !! There must have been 500 people in line, it literally went all the way around the block. I was so disappointed. But then after a trip to Starbucks, I ended up getting free tickets to go see Rilo Kiley at The Greek Theater. It was really cool. It's one of those bands I never got around to check out for some reason. So it was really nice to see them, they sounded amazing. ( and looked amazing...I love that combo)
Tonight I am headed down to Spaceland with Lex Love. ( that is, if i don't fall asleep again... I ended up going for a 2 hour walk today, in the heat.....I was so out of it when I finally came back home)

Death metal at The Knitting Factory

Tuesday night my friend Menno had a show at the Knitting Factory with his band The Cauterized. I went to check it out and it was RAD !!!
I love death metal, and they were tight.
The Cauterized are Death Metal purists. Like Arthurian Grail Warriors of days long gone, they are on a perpetual Quest to deliver Brutality to a scene which seems to have lost its focus. Unhindered by trends and constant redefinition of the genre, they remain true to the roots they sprung from: the Dark and Twisted roots of Death Metal.

Thanks for coming along Richard !!

At The celebrity Vault

I went to see Marc Baptiste at his "Nudes" Photography Exhibition on June 6, 2008 at The Celebrity Vault Gallery in Beverly Hills, with my friend Sara. Here she is:

I decided to go early so I could spend some time on Rodeo Drive. For some reason I remembered it as a very cool place. But to be honest, I was pretty bored. So I was happy when Sara showed up. We went to check out the nude photos along with 500 other people. They had the best food !!! Lots of Sushi and even a few vegan options, which I was very pleased with. In the back of the room, they had huge photos of Bob Dylan and Rolling Stones from the 70's. Amazing photos !!! I would have loved to buy one of them, but I didn't have $6000.
Here are some photos from the event:
